Winchester Youth Orchestra

When: Wednesdays, fortnightly, 6.45pm - 9.00pm
Requirements: To be grade 5+. Entry by audition

Our main orchestra is open to all instrumentalists of approximately Grade V+ and gives the opportunity to play in a full symphony orchestra.

Many of our members go on to play with county ensembles such as the Hampshire County Youth Orchestra and the Hampshire County Youth Band. Many stay with us long after they have joined such groups.

We play a wide range of music from Bach, Holst and Ives to Star Wars and Pirates of the Caribbean.
